Mind Movies are a powerful tool to use when you are looking to connect with and increase your joy in life!

Plus, they are fun to create and equally fun to use!

Mind Movies Background

While Dr. Joe Dispenza’s book, Becoming Supernatural, has been so transformative as a whole for me, one of the ways it has changed my life has been introducing me to the concept/ tool of Mind Movies.

To set this tool up, I want to frame it like Dr. Joe does in his book.

We are always “programming” our minds— one way is through what entertainment we consume. This includes the TV/movies we watch (which is why I have severely limited my TV consumption), the music we listen to, the podcasts we consume, the books we read, etc.

Everything off of that list is “programming” our minds toward the content of those things… Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about how it is appropriate it’s called “television programming”!

That may sound stark, but it is honestly true if you think about it.

As Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about in his book, when we are watching something intently or over and over again, we allow our minds to switch their brain wave states— which in turn makes the information being presented to you more part of your internal programming/ belief systems.

However, there is a light in this tunnel! Dr. Joe Dispenza summarizes this best when he says,

“But if we can create […] with our eyes open, and intentionally expose ourselves to information relevant to our life’s dreams and goals, we can reprogram ourselves into supernatural states […]”-Dr. Joe Dispenza

It is possible to “program” our minds towards what we do want to experience in life!

So, what actually are Mind Movies and how do they relate to this?

Well, they are INTENTIONAL programming for your mind towards a life that you do want!

Mind Movies are literal movies you watch that have been tailored specifically to reflect your dreams for the future. They have messages written, pictures, and music tailored specifically to that dream life. You then watch these movies multiple times to allow them to sink into your own inner programming for the future! Then, watch as they truly unfold in magical ways.

“Your job, then, is to continuously fall in love with that vision of the future, keep your energy up, and not let the circumstances (environment), hardwired attitudes, familiar negative feelings, or unconscious habits derail you from your goals.”

Mind Movies give us the power back to create a future and life that is beyond our wildest dreams. A life filled with love, adventure and fun.

They allow us to envision and create a life filled to the brim with all the joy that we can imagine.

They empower us to be specific in the things that we are desiring, and allow us to see that this dream life can actually come true! I feel like for a lot of people (myself included in this!), we dream of a dream life, but feel like it’s not actually possible or going to happen. The beautiful thing with Mind Movies is that they allow us to see it actually IS possible to live our dream lives— we are watching it happen in our Mind Movies afterall!

Personally, it kind of amazes me how much of my own Mind Movie has come true already and the joy it is continually bringing me since I created mine is wonderful!

My “joy-urney”, for example, is part of my Mind Movie that I have been watching for the last year plus!

How to Get Started with Mind Movies

So, how do we get started with using Mind Movies? As I said in the intro, it’s truly a fun and creative process!

How to Set-Up Your Mind Movie:

1.) Firstly, you need to get SUPER clear on what you are dreaming of in your life. What does your dream life look like?

2.) Secondly, go to the Mind Movies homepage, and click the “Products” tab. Then, you will need to find and purchase a Mind Movies Creation Kit (I personally use the Mind Movies 4.0 Creation Kit).

3.) Create your log-in/ enter into the Mind Movie Creation Kit, and follow their instructions to begin creating your Mind Movie. For me, I like to start with the pictures and the affirmations! If you are not sure where to begin, Mind Movies has lots of pre-made content to use.

4.) Select music that really means something to you and your dream life. You can download your own music into the Creation Kit (that’s what I did!). Music is so important… it’s like the soundtrack to your future! What song encapsulates your future self the best? Lay that music over your Mind Movie using the tools in the Mind Movie Creation Kit.

5.) Complete your Mind Movie and download it!

You can make multiple Mind Movies! I have one Mind Movie for my short-term goals/ future and another Mind Movie for my longer-term goals/future! Also, you can get as specific as you want— I got REALLY specific with mine!

How to Watch Your Mind Movie:

NOTE: There are two different ways to watch your Mind Movies. Dr. Joe Dispenza also recommends watching a kaleidoscope before, during and after your Mind Movie to better help it sink into your internal programming. Option #1: Head to the the Mind Movies homepage and click the log-in button. This will take you to your account/ your Mind Movies!

Option #2: Get the Mind Movies app on your phone and watch it there (this is how I watch my Mind Movies).

How Often to Watch Your Mind Movie:

This is entirely up to you and how quickly you want to engrain your Mind Movie into your internal programming!

Dr. Joe Dispenza recommends in his book to watch the Mind Movies especially right after you wake up and right before you go to sleep— this is when your brain is best able to accept the Mind Movies, allowing them to more quickly become part of your internal programming.

When I first started my Mind Movies, I would watch both of my Mind Movies right when I woke up and again right before I went to sleep.

I also would sometimes watch them during the daytime if I wanted to (remember they are fun to watch— it’s a movie about you!).

Nowadays, since these movies have been more and more entrenched into my internal programming… I find what works best for me is to watch one of the Mind Movies a day and alternate each day. I still like to watch them right when I wake up and right before I go to sleep just because that’s the easiest time for my brain to absorb the information!

Find what works for you: you may find yourself loving to watch your Mind Movie and watching it 10 times a day or you may find that you simply love to watch your Mind Movie right before you close your eyes to go to sleep! Either way, trust this is a wonderful tool to help you visualize the joyful future you are worthy of!
