One of the things I got from my dad is a deep love for music.
From classical to indie folk to Motown to rock, I truly enjoy it all. My liked songs on Spotify is quite the eclectic mix that’s for sure!
Here’s some pretty rad playlists (if I do say so myself!) that I’ve been listening to on repeat lately this spring. Hope you enjoy!

#1: Feeling French by Meg Stefan
Mood: Eating a lovely meal/ dreaming of France
Love, love, love this playlist. It has vibes of taking a stroll in Paris at midnight and being transported to a different time (a la Owen Wilson in Midnight in Paris). It’s cozy. It’s warm. It’s light. It’s all the good things.
#2: As Ever | With Love, Meghan by Amanda Matta
Mood: Dancing around your kitchen doing the dishes
Having grown up with parents of the Motown era, I love me some good Motown music… and this playlist has this vibe and more. It’s a throwback to the 60s all inspired by Meghan Markle’s new show and business. Get ready to start dancing when you listen to this playlist!
#3: Ciaccona (I) Radio by Spotify
Mood: Sunny morning with open windows and a breeze
This is one for the classical people out there. It’s perfect for those moments when you want something gentle on in the background but sans words. Lovely, peaceful and perfect for daydreaming.
#4: Louis Armstrong Radio
Mood: Dinner prepping
I adore a great Crooner song. After watching an episode of The Voice, Michael Bublé summed up the love for crooner music by saying (I’m paraphrasing here…) that these songs are relevant to us still because some things never change. They’re timeless. Heartbreak and love are things we experience for eons. And that is why we still love a great crooner song.
#5: Pride and Prejudice Soundtrack
Mood: Inspired Writing
While not technically a playlist but an album (forgive me!), I’ve been listening to this soundtrack since I watched the movie back in high school and fell in love with the compositions. Whenever I needed to feel focused writing a paper from high school through graduate school, I would often find myself popping this playlist on. It’s beautiful from start to finish and makes you feel like you’re living in a Jane Austen story.
